What we collect

We collect only what you submit through the two forms on this website.

• Seller survey: business name, website, business model, industry, location, a description of the business, operating history, approximate revenue and profit information, an optional asking price, your reasons and timing for a sale, your relationship to the business, transition preferences, any additional information you add, and your name, email address, and optional telephone number.
• Contact form: your name, email address, inquiry type, and message.
• Consent records: the acknowledgment you give when submitting the survey, whether you opted in to marketing email, and the time each was recorded.
• Campaign attribution: if you arrive from a link containing campaign parameters, we store those parameters and the referring website’s domain. We do not store the full referring URL.

Why we use it

We use the information to review your inquiry against our current acquisition interests, to respond to you, and — if there appears to be a potential fit — to arrange an introductory conversation. Submitting the survey does not create a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement between us.

What you should not send

Please do not submit account passwords, Social Security numbers, customer records, or sensitive business documents through this website. The forms do not accept file uploads for this reason.

Who can see it

Submissions are stored in a private database and are readable only by authorised administrators of this website. Internal review notes and the financial details you provide are never published. We use service providers to host this website and its database, and — once configured — to send email on our behalf; they process information only to deliver those services. We do not sell your information.

Marketing email

The marketing consent checkbox in the seller survey is optional and unchecked by default. It is never required in order to submit the survey or to receive replies about your inquiry. We only add your contact details to a marketing list if you select it, and you can ask us to remove them at any time.

Measurement

We measure how many visitors start and complete the seller survey so we can improve it. Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, financial answers, free-text responses, and private invitation links are never sent to any measurement or analytics service, and form fields are not recorded.

Retention and deletion

We keep submissions for as long as we are considering the opportunity or are required to for record-keeping. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email gaylonbullard@gmail.com. Administrators can delete a submission and its notes permanently on request.
