About Us

An acquirer focused on the business and the owner behind it.

Business Capital Group LLC Mergers and Acquisitions evaluates acquisitions of U.S. online businesses and compliance-based service businesses, and works with owners who are considering a sale.

Business Capital Group exists to evaluate acquisitions and to help owners explore a buyout and an ownership transition. For most owners, that means one of a few things: retiring, releasing equity that has been tied up in the business for years, or freeing themselves to pursue another project.

A buyout is one route to those outcomes, and it is a route that has to work for both sides. Our starting point is therefore the business itself — what it does, how it earns revenue, how long it has operated — alongside the owner’s objectives for a potential sale and for the period after it.

Our current areas of interest are digital media and publishing businesses covering Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, equities markets, and financial advice or education, and compliance-based service businesses with an initial focus on the Chicago metropolitan area. These are areas of interest rather than an exhaustive eligibility list, and each opportunity is reviewed individually.

Business Capital Group is an acquirer. It is not an investment adviser, a cryptocurrency exchange, a lender, a business-for-sale marketplace, or a seller brokerage.

For a business you are considering selling, begin with the seller survey. It gives us what we need to review the opportunity before arranging a direct conversation.
